I tack welded the landing gear up but not sure if I will use this version or make a new one that has the springs. I plan on using big soft lawn mower tires to take up the shock.

Pretty much finished with the main structure. there are still lots of small things to fabricate and weld on to the fuselage.

Most of the tubes are tacked in place at this point. Working on the firewall forward portion

Working on the rear fuselage. Grinding the joints is getting easier.

More work on the jig and adding tubes. I bent the top longeron but would not do it this way again. It was not easy getting all the dimensions to hit exactly where they were supposed to. The plans show multiple pieces welded together to form the top longeron and would be easier.

Building up the forms to hold the tubing in the correct position. I made a hole in the fixture box to allow the laser to go through all the way to the tail post.

Longerons are bent and can now start adding more tubes.

gas welding is something I have never done. I can stick weld and do a lot of tig welding so the learning curve has been fairly easy and really enjoyable.

I built two 2 ft. by 8 ft. tables to build the fuselage on and painted the top white so I could draw layout lines on them
